Slurm's Secret Bag
You've been in enough trouble in your life. Time outs were hard enough as a kid, and you've seen the kinds of community service slurm's had to do. You're not very keen on mucking slunk stalls with them, so you seek out Gayley, the only person who seems to have any sort of control over Slurm. Clearly, there's something important in this bag!
He seems somewhat surprised when you approach him.
Gayley: Afternoon! Everything okay?
You start to explain what happened, but as soon as you mention Slurm, his gaze narrows.
Gayley: What are they-! Thank you for telling me. Let me see the bag?
He takes it from you, opens it, and rifles through it. He pulls a few things out, a couple of cobalt's potion vials, a length of rope, a grappling hook, a pocket knife, by the Depth, what were they planning?!- But Gayley seems unimpressed. He continues to pull things out and set them aside. A massive ring of keys a fist sized mushroom shaped crystal, a few whittled wooden crubs, spare bandanas (All black and white), and then-
Gayley: AHA!
He reaches in and pulls out what seems to be the most mundane thing in the bag, a beaten up journal.
Gayley: IVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THIS!
He seems almost... vindicated? Is he okay?
Gayley: I just KNOW they put all their plans in here! Thank you, you've done a great service for the entire island!
But you're not so sure. He wanted.... their journal? You felt kind of bad as you watch him put everything back into the bag. Gayley reaches into his own satchel and hands you a few coins.
Gayley: Grab a drink on me tonight!
You smile. Sorta. Not enough here for dinner. But at least you did the right thing, at least you hope...
