Ear Upgrades
When applying new ears, you can either:
• Use the same placements/colors as your staxie's previous ears.
• Make the ears the same color as the area they sprout from (ONE solid color).
Stump Ears
I'm baby.
Beans Required: 150
Requirement:
Draw the Adult staxie you want this upgrade for with a stump!
Rules:
-Drawing requirement must be done when your staxie is an adult!
-Tufts can be any color already on your staxie!
-Stump can be owned by you or another member!
Lotsa Tufts
You want,,, ear hair??
Beans Required: 150
Requirement:
The staxie you want this upgrade for must have 10 deviations of them in the group prior to adding this upgrade.
Rules:
-This upgrade adds tufts to pre-existing ears!
-As many or as little extra tufts on the ears!
-This upgrade can be combined with ANY EARS.
Meta Ears
You have special ears.
Beans Required: 450
Requirement:
The staxie you want this upgrade for must be official in any one Basic Magic!
Rules:
-Three ear-stems on each side!
Tufts can be any color already on your staxie!
(they CAN each be different colors when this upgrade is applied)
Chumby Ears
You know what? That's a healthy guy.
Beans Required: 100
Requirement:
-Makes the stems of ears fat!
-Inside of the ear / ear tufts can be any color already on your staxie.
-Can be combined with Stump Ears, Stem Ears, Meta Ears.
Webbed Ears
​Wow wow webby!

Rules:
-Webbing is optional! It can be any color already on your staxie.
-Tufts are optional as well! They can be any color already on your staxie.
-Can have 3 or 4 "spikes"!
Candelabra Ears
It's been sitting by a bike pump for a year...

The staxie you want this upgrade for must have 10 deviations of them submitted to the group prior to applying this upgrade!
Rules:
-Essentially fuzzy Candle Flame Ears!
-Can have fluff on the inside or not.
-Inside of ears / inner fluff can be any color already on your staxie.
Phooey Ears
Fe fi fo fum...

Rules:
-These ears do not have fur!
Tabogi Ears

-These ears face forward and/or inward.
Bun Ears

-The "inside" of these ears can be a different color if you wish (must be a color already on your staxie).

-The "inside" of these ears can be a different color if you wish (must be a color already on your staxie).

Lubby Ears

Leafy Ears

Requirement:
​Paint something Staves Rest related on a leaf!
Rules:
-Must be recognizable as something Staves Rest adjacent. (staxie, creature, etc)
-The inside of these ears can be any color already on your staxie!
-Does NOT need to match the shape shown in the image, but should be relatively similar.
Dragon Ears
Zu'u unslaad! Zu'u nis oblaan!

Requirement:
Draw the staxie you want this upgrade for being brave! What are they doing?
Rules:
-These ears must have two nubbins, no more no less!
Cricket Ears
Good for keeping everyone up on early-fall nights.
Requirement:
Must complete [redacted] Quest!
Rules:
-"Webbing" on these ears can be any color already on your staxie.
Winged Ears
Listenin' for cloud crime, someone stole all the dang clouds.

Requirement:
The staxie you want this upgrade for must have 10 deviations of them in the group prior to adding this upgrade.
Rules:
-Can be either feathered, webbed, or buggy!
-Second layer of feathers/webbing can be any color already on your staxie!
-Cannot fly with these, unless you also have long ears.
Myre Ears

-Can be any of the styles shown above!

Eon Ears

Must have 3 deviations of your staxie with their best friend owned by another member!
Rules:
-These ears are very thin!
-"Best friend" is just for flavor. Requirement entails drawing your staxie with another member's staxie 3 times.
Pachy Ears
The very things that held ya down are gonna carry ya up!

Requirement:
Draw the staxie you want this upgrade for in class at the Stumphouse School! (yes, even if they're an adult!)
Rules:
-These ears are made of thin cartilage but are very large!
-No you cannot fly with them.
Plushy Ears
What are they stuffed with? 😳
Beans Required: 375
Age Requirement: 2 months
Requirement:
Draw your staxie with a plushie! What is it? A crub? A beep bop?
Rules:
-These ears can deviate from the shape above slightly, but they're heavy and don't sit upright easily!
-Must be the color of the area they sprout from!
Grabby Ears
Y'know... like nya?
Requirement:
The staxie you want this upgrade for must complete the quest "Smeak-led Eggs"!
Rules:
-Ear "hands" can be pawed or clawed!
-Thumbs are optional.
-These ears are prehensile.
-All limb upgrades can be applied to these ears as well. (Obviously, they must be unlocked first.)
-Must be applied during April!
Long Ears
On a scale from one to ten, how would you rate my scales?
Requirement:
The staxie you want this upgrade for must complete the quest "Smeak's Soup" during the correct month!
Randomly given out for the quest "Stumpsitting".
Rules:
-Ears can now be three times their original size at maximum.
-Does not lengthen any other parts of the body.
Double Ears
All the better to hear you with.
Beans Required: 250
Age Requirement: 2 months
Rules:
-Above are just three examples, you are not limited to these three ears.
-Two pairs of ears! All four ears must be the same UNLESS Asymmetrical Ears is applied.
-Must follow the rules and requirements of the types of ear(s) applied.
Remove / Reapply an Upgrade
I hate every part of every of this.
Beans Required: 0
Requirement:
Draw you staxie at least 3 times with the upgrade you want to remove or reapply!
Rules:
-This allows you to remove an upgrade you no longer want on your staxie OR change/move an upgrade around!
-When removing or reapplying an upgrade, make sure to clearly state you are removing/reapplying an upgrade and link the 3 deviations required.
-The upgrade does NOT need to be visible in the 3 images to remove it.
-The image where you first applied the upgrade CAN count as one of the 3 images needed tor remove it.
-This allows you to remove Markings around and move Patches from back to front, or vice versa.
-Injuries have unique rules in order to be removed and thus cannot be removed "normally" like other upgrades!
Asymmetrical Ears
I mean okay
Beans Required: 300
Age Requirement: 3 months
Rules:
-Allows for both/all ears to be different types.
-Must follow the rules and requirements of the types of ears applied!
